Program Overview
S-MB Company offers an exceptional ballet training program that goes beyond the traditional. Our goal is to provide exquisite tuition in Ballet, Pointe, Pointe Preparation, and Repertoire while also incorporating Progressing Ballet Technique and Body Conditioning classes to enhance strength and flexibility. Throughout the year, we offer a variety of classes including Contemporary, Neo-Classical, and Choreography to ensure our dancers have the versatility needed in today's industry.
At S-MB Company, we believe in nurturing and inspiring young dancers to reach their full potential.Our dedicated team of experienced educators provides individualised and detailed training, focusing on both technical and artistic development. We take pride in seeing our dancers grow in confidence and ability.
Our training sessions take place in Edinburgh and Glasgow, with the option of weekly virtual classes for all S-MB members.

Junior Program

For dancers who crave further knowledge and experience at a young age, we offer the Junior program, which is dedicated to laying a strong foundation in ballet technique, prioritising proper placement and safe progressions of movement. We focus on rhythm, dynamics and encourage the use of imagination and creative expression in our young dancers. Junior dancers also participate in strength and flexibility classes such as PBT and Conditioning and have the opportunity to explore Contemporary dance, Classical Repertoire, and Choreography. These classes are designed to be both safe and appropriate for their developmental stage, instilling discipline and fostering creativity. Our goal is to help each child reach their highest potential. This program is exclusive to our Edinburgh location and is open to dancers from the age of 6.

For those looking for a more intensive training experience.
Our Bespoke program offers unique and individually tailored training. This program is designed for pre-vocational level dancers who wish to train intensively with S-MB. It includes studio and online sessions, optional private tuition, coaching for prestigious competitions, and the opportunity to study both the American Ballet Theatre Curriculum and Royal Academy of Dance Syllabi. We also provide guidance and assistance in preparing and applying for auditions for summer intensives, vocational upper schools, and degree programs. Please note that places in the Bespoke program are limited.
